I have a question about the basil/tomato frittata recipe recently in my email (which sounds delicious!)--when the recipe says eight ounces of cheddar cheese, and 4 of jack cheese, are these weights or 8 oz./4oz. in a standard measuring cup? Appreciate and answer from someone smarter than me!

If you're referring to this

If you're referring to this recipe: then the answer is 8 oz and 4 oz are weights. Take an 8 oz block of cheddar cheese and grate it. Take a 4 oz block of Monterey Jack cheese and grate it. Hope this helps!
