Every December, we cook up a storm for the annual Almanac Christmas party.

Last year, a huge ice storm forced us to cancel our festivities—so we were looking forward to this year's celebration.

Below are photos of the holiday table. Can you tell that we love to bake and cook?!

This year, we hosted a holiday afternoon tea; the table was loaded with sweets, breads, and decorative tea cups. Here are a few of the holiday recipes:

Buche de Noel

Cranberry Punch

Christmas Fruit Cookies

Cranberry Scones

Are you hosting any holiday parties or gatherings this year? We'd love to hear what you're cooking. Please share below!

I am sitting here on the other side of the world, on a scorcher of a summer's day, looking with longing at all your lovely evergreens and snowy goodness, wishing just a little bit that i could have a white Christmas. Thankyou so much for your amazing newsletter every week. Have a great Christmas and a Happy New Year!

Looks SO wonderful! Wow, were there leftovers? Send 'em my way! We're having a holiday party on Boxing Day at my parent's house. I'm eagerly awaiting the famed artichoke tree which I "guard." I agree with Jeanette--Thanks for all your dedication and great work on the Almanac. Merry Christmas!

If all office parties were as cozy as this, it would be a better world. You must be wonderful to work with! It would be quite a commute from New Jersey, but do you have an opening?
This is a good time for me to thank you for the wonderful newsletters. They brighten up an otherwise dull work day.
Merry Christmas to all!
