Ya left out my favorite seed seller

If it's tomato or pepper seed (heirloom) you're looking for, there is only 1 option.
Timeless-Tomatoes.
Unbelievable selection, reasonable prices, free shipping and great customer service.
10 year customer here, and I've had 100% germination from these folks.
It's worth your consideration. I check this site first.

Can't wait to plant!

These are all incredible sources, thanks! May I add my preferred seed company? Sustainable Seed Co has a terrific selection of heirloom as well as organic seed for cheap yet their quality is top tier. Here is their site, www.sustainableseedco.com

One of my favorites

R. H. Shumway, related to Jung's Seed Co. Ordered from the for several years now and very happy with service and products!

Looking for history

My dad use to buy seeds through the mail. I remember the box that was delivered said on it 'The seeds that pay are sold by May'. Any history on that company?

I think I know the answer

I'm almost sure those seeds were from Earl May, a nursery based out of Shenandoah, Iowa.
They no longer grow anything, but buy all their stock from local growers. I believe they have 1100 retail stores, in several States. Iowa, Nebraska, Kansas for sure.

Another good one is South GA

Another good one is South GA Seed Company. Small seed company only around 130 varieties, but they only sell O.P. Heirlooms. They sell seed banks too. website is www.southgaseedco.com prices pretty fair.

Another great one is Caladium World. They have been around for 30 years and specialize in caladium bulbs. Product, delivery and service has never let me down. The best quality and size of bulbs. Never a bad bulb in the bunch when I receive them.

Seed Bank is an online

Seed Bank is an online retailer of non-GMO garden seeds. Here is the link: www.seed-bank.ca

Looks like they don't send orders outside of Canada :(

Definitely check out greenwoodnursery.com. The nursery has been in business since 1978 and on the web since 1994. They have over 400 products listed from Trees and shrubs to ground cover and perennials. They sell the best plants for the best value.

I recommend Dixondale Farms.

They are an onion plant producer in Texas. I've done business with them for several years and their products are outstanding. Their website has very good information specific to growing onions and leeks. They are celebrating their 100th year in business!

I always buy my seeds at New

I always buy my seeds at New England Seed www.neseed.com. They are No-GMO and have signed the safe seed pledge. I have been getting their free seed catalog for years and ordering online. They have good customer service and the site is easy to navigate. They also have unique varieties that I can sell at my local farmers market.

I prefer Totally Tomatoes for

I prefer Totally Tomatoes for all of my tomato seeds. I have always been totally 100% satisfied.

Try Timeless-Tomatoes. Better

Try Timeless-Tomatoes. Better prices, newer seed and free shipping.

It may seem a bit nostalgic,

It may seem a bit nostalgic, but I tend to buy my vegetable seeds from either Burpee or Gurney's and my fruit trees from Stark Brothers. I know I have just a little bias toward these, because I have salivated over their catalogs for the last 40+ years. Now I will be using gardening for mobility therapy! It should be more interesting than just walking a track.

A Canadian (wonderful) source

A Canadian (wonderful) source of Herb seeds and plants is Richter's: http://www.richters.com/
Richter's has taken the Safe Seed Pledge, and if you're close to them, they give classes, and they have wonderful databases.

In Canada we get organic

In Canada we get organic heirloom seeds from the Cottage Gardener http://www.cottagegardener.com/

Thanks for your list! Time to grow.... well not quite as there is still a lot of snow in northern Ontario but we can start some seeds and dream of spring!

I purchase all my seeds and

I purchase all my seeds and tomato plants from R.H.Shumways in Randolph, WI. The mail order service is exceptional! The first time I ordered tomato plants I was abit concerned as they were so tiny, but they ended up outdoing the ones I bought locally that were larger. Plus there prices even with shipping end up being the same as locally purchased and I feel the seeds and plants are exceptional. Hope this helps any one looking for quality at reasonable prices. I live in West TN. GOD BLESS!

I am new to gardening, but I

I am new to gardening, but I like using Burpee Seeds, and Park Seeds. I have also used White Flower Farms.

My favorite place for seeds

My favorite place for seeds is Heirloom Seeds at http://www.heirloomseeds.com/
It is a pleasure to read the descriptions and histories about their varieties.
I believe that heirlooms have better flavor and more nutritional value than hybrid or genetically modified varieties. You can't do better than Mother Nature!

Jamie, thanks for the

Jamie, thanks for the suggestion. I just got through going to the Heirloom Seeds website and they do have a lot of great specials. Just by browsing I found two packages that I am tempted to buy. The kitchen herb package and the MEDICINAL HERB PACKAGE. Not to mention they are reasonable on their prices. Good luck with your garden this year and be blessed.
