This is a healthy and light recipe that is easy on your dog/cats stomach. I make this for my dog. The cat is interested only in the chicken.
Ingredients:
Chicken
Carrots
Peas
Rice
Boil chicken in one pot, carrots and peas in another. We don't want cross contamination. Drain liquids.
Chop chicken and carrots into small bites (depending on pet size). Add to cooked rice and serve.

Rice is the food that is full of carbohydrate. I agree that rice is the real best food for the pets. Pet’s health is very sensitive any problem in their food makes the live bad. so you can also go for some other food along with rice just like the pet foods available in market. Also you can give some vitamin foods which are made in home. We can also give chicken as it is with protein also we can give peas which covered with the vitamins. my puppy is 30 lbs and on a calulator he is expected to be around 6o lbs . He is a pit cane corso mix. I want to feed him this but how much of each do i feed? I feed hiim 3xdaily and at 6mo i will feed 2x daily.

Puppies require a special diet to help their development; what might be good for an adult dog, might not provide the right nutrition for a puppy. Also, each animal, even when of the same breed and age, may have different feeding requirements.
We'd recommend that you consult a veterinarian about whether this recipe provides all the nutrients that your growing puppy needs, and if so, what the correct amount is per serving, and how often to serve it. The vet should also be able to work with you to develop a complete homemade diet plan that is best for your dog.
