Q: What’s the best way to keep sweet corn fresh?

A: After picking the ears early in the day, husk and chill in ice-cold water. For every gallon water, add one teaspoon bleach and one teaspoon white vinegar. Soak 30 minutes, drain, and immediately pack in resealable plastic bags. Corn will remain fresh 2-3 weeks in refrigerator.
