By Ken Werner

Located in historic United Nations Plaza, this Farmers' Market operates Wednesdays and Sundays year-round. Everything offered must be California grown or raised and that includes fresh fruits and vegetables as well as baked goods, fish, poultry, cooked-on-location ethnic foods, and a variety of mushrooms. The Market caters to mainly low-income residents from the Tenderloin and South of Market but people from all around The City shop here because of the diversity of foods, the low prices, and the quality of the foods offered.
