Saskatoon Farmers' Market

Members of the Saskatoon Farmers’ Market “make it - bake it -grow it - sell it,” offering only what they produce, thus ensuring the high quality of products, and allowing consumers direct, personal contact with producers.
Founded in 1975, the Market is a member-owned non-profit cooperative providing residents and visitors the best in local agricultural products, baking, prepared foods and crafts. In 2007, the cooperative moved to its year-round location at River Landing development.
The Market is a fun place to be with a feast for the senses. Special events include live music, local chefs demonstrating their skills, prize give-aways, and entertainment for the whole family. Adjacent to the facility, the “Market Square” with its distinctive and welcoming sign, allows for summer outdoor markets and special events. The location of this square combined with the Farmers’ Market and the “Market Walk,” form an attractive and always-changing gathering place.
