Heck Ya

I am always hostess (mostly because we have the youngest kids and Thanksgiving runs late into the evening here).
As of two months ago I have to plan for two months ahead. Right now I am finishing up all of the house projects before hubby gets home from his deployment in October. A week after he gets home we have a family trip to Hawaii (also over Halloween). Then those holidays will start slapping me in the face before I know it. I am already buying the Christmas gifts.
I like to relax through the holidays so I usually have everything planned in October so I can just enjoy it and when something pops up, its ok.
Plus, its football season and I am an avid Packer fan. Can't miss those games.

Buying Christmas gifts,,

We have just parcelled the Christmas gifts that we will be sending to our friends in US. As they can take 6-12 weeks to arrive by surface we have to get them off early. With our health track record we daren't leave it all to last minute and this year will be no different.

None yet........

hadn't even THOUGHT of it yet! Some planner I am! tee hee! Probably my son and his wife will be down from NC...they're closing on their new (new to them) home on his birthday the 27th of this month! Used to be, when we still lived in MI, we'd always have between 20 and 25 people for dinner, I did all the cooking and baking..usually over 20 pies and a few cheesecakes as well! Miss those days!
