While driving home from Jared's drill weekend in Green Bay WI and heading north to Iron Mountain, MI Jared and I were involved in a dangerous car accident that totaled my car and seriously injured Jared. I went into labor and it stopped over night in the emergency room. Jared has a compressed C5 fracture in his neck and will be in a neck brace for at least 6 weeks, probably longer. His right shoulder is sprained and he has to wear a sling for the next two to three weeks. Both of us are very sore and bruised and dealing with trauma. I'm still having panic attacks when in a vehicle and still have to get behind the wheel again. Mikey, my 10-month son, was also in the car but was uninjured and safe. Please keep us in prayer as it will be a long recovery for Jared and both of us are not allowed to return to work for an extended period of time.
Star,
I'm really sorry to hear of your accident. I can only imagine how scared you were. I'll be thinking of you all while you start to feel better, heal and recover.
Take care and let us know how you all are doing.
Oh Starzy!

Star. Thank God you and the family are ok. Take it slow and I do know what you mean about getting into a car again. Just take deep breaths and you will be fine. Emily

I think your guardian angels were working overtime in that accident. Please accept my very good wishes to you and your family. Always remember 'no matter how bad things are the sun always rises'. I will remember you in my prayers, and believe me prayer is the strongest force on this planet. My daughter is a walking example of that, I can tell you. God Bless you and keep you safe. He will help you when it is time for you to get behind the wheeel.
