How does a dimmer switch on a light circuit work. Does it reduce the power or does it alternate off ond on or what?
couldn't tell ya, all I know is to turn the knob to dim the lights! ;)
me old, old, very old YB don't know the answer. There's me thinking he knows just about evrything about a lot.Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm
You should know better than that Suss..
It is a variable resistor which limits the voltage to the bulb thus making it dimmer... sort of like when you make statements about me...
I was trying to pay you a compliment. Still we all should learn from our mistakes....
THE SKY IS FALLING... THE SKY IS FALLING..
hear you without you shouting.
but with this big pond between us and all I didn't figure you could hear me..
Are you being a big mouth again?
"Why is everybody always pickin on me?"
If you have a face like a ..... you will always be picked on.
What is a .....? Must be an old Brit abbreviation for "Movie Star"
Thanks for the compliment... Jealous?
YB the word is ZIT.
You mean like that big thing sitting on your shoulders?
My 'Halo' you can see.
cause I see the horns holding it up!!!!!
is that the remains of a skillet one of the girls hit you over the head with?
Thems me ears, that's why I can hear what you are saying YB. Don't need a telephone just you speak and I can hear you. Assuming you do speak old Sussex english.
This coming from people who don't know they drive on the wrong side of the road....
When US was the biggest car makers in the world they found that by making right hand drive to be driven on the right was cheaper than on the left so that is why you drive on the right. As we refused to change just to give Ford a few more bucks. But strange as it may seem us who drive on the left have fewer accidents per head of population than those who drive on the right. So I be happy to drive on the left and live than on the right and have a worse chance to be dead.
Anyways if you are in the centre lane of a 3 lane highway which side are you on?
It's us that drive on the wrong side. Suss, pay no mind to YB. I lived in NZed when Stu was there and they got it right. ;)
