Yea yea I know but if you want to wait until the 20th, that's your loss ;)
For the newbies, YB's spring starts today. It is MARCH, enough said.
I have heard that in my area (western PA) we could get a few more snow storms and snow into April.
That's what science says, what I hear from nature is different, I have seen Pussy Willow getting their fuzz already, I hear some spring songbirds in the morning... I feel we are going to have an early spring!
We shall see who's right :D
I think it will still be kind of cold & a bit stormy through march, that is what the weathermen in this area are calling for. I hear the song birds in the morning too, so I know spring will eventually get here.
YB, your optimism is good to hear, altho' I heard what Maryescott heard too.
Is it too early to call the day a Lion or Lamb?
What kind of a day are you having :quest:
Skunks have come out of hibernation, More and more Robins are about, the temps during the day are going above 40 around here....
Yup... early Spring
We have stuff greening out of the ground, robins, bluejays and just today I heard FROGS!! The sounds of frogs is what I listen for at the beginning of every Spring. Made my hubby stop in the middle of the road just so I could listen a minutes more...and no there were no other cars around.
As of today its my first day of Spring too! Woo hoo!!!
My Daffs are out, the crocusses are flowering like mad, the birds are pairing up and the blue titis are investigating the nest boxes.
SPRING IS HERE IN SUNNY SUSSEX
