Hello all!

Our Forums Have Closed

Hi, Everyone,

We have decided to close the Almanac forums.

The good news: Now you have the ability to comment on the www.Almanac.com Web site pages!

The Web site has grown tremendously, with 12 million readers every month. You'll find folks who are weather watchers, gardening enthusiasts, stargazers, and more. Find advice, get answers to questions, and share your experiences.

Find the Almanac here, too!

Finally, a big THANK YOU to all those who have participated in and looked after the forums over the years!

Sincerely,
The Old Farmer's Almanac

Had to re-register to get in, but I made it. Great new look. Hope everyone is doing well. We are finally getting rain! Whew!

It hasn't rained for a bit ...

.
And here in the northeast, we're having a nor'east'r ... but not the winter kind, just a big circle of slow steady rain. We had one around July or so too.

Managed to get the sniffles! Oh well, best to get it over with.

Well, I hope you feel better.

Well, I hope you feel better. They say we are in for a rough flu season with H1N1 virus.

Sniffles

Thanks Lantana,

I got in knocked out in 24 hrs. I don't like all the hoopla over H1N1, first it seems like it's genetically-based among certain cultures, then it's just an alert for the very suseptible ... very confusing.

But I'm still washing hands, just being alert.
