Our Forums Have Closed

Hi, Everyone,

We have decided to close the Almanac forums.

The good news: Now you have the ability to comment on the www.Almanac.com Web site pages!

The Web site has grown tremendously, with 12 million readers every month. You'll find folks who are weather watchers, gardening enthusiasts, stargazers, and more. Find advice, get answers to questions, and share your experiences.

Find the Almanac here, too!

Finally, a big THANK YOU to all those who have participated in and looked after the forums over the years!

Sincerely,
The Old Farmer's Almanac

Moderators

A few years ago the mods helped clean up the Wild West that this forum had become. Some discussions got quite heated, some inappropriate posts appeared. The mods reined us in when necessary.

Nobody reined you in at all, BUT I got reported a few times, and some posts were reported just for something to do by the one who pushed the button.

It's never good to feel used, BUT generally feels good when you have been guested!!

yes, unfortunately one forum in particular became overheated regularly, and in this Forum, Politics and Religion always brought out the worst in people's beliefs. TWO topics that should - perhaps - be avoided.

If Pee Jay is paying you a compliment or not.
I am sure you two ladies are both great with a cast iron skillet. Pity about the hat wasn't it.
