Funny how a name can bring to mind something buried in the back of the old grey matter called memory.
I saw the name 2ndwave and it brought to mind my youth. Many years ago I lived by the sea in Dorset and close by was a beach called Chesil Beach( it was washed up one night in a storm, 13 miles long and made of shingle) It had a bad reputation for folk being washed off it into the sea and drowned. What used to happen was the waves would roll in reasonably small and then every 7th wave would come a good twelve foot up the beach and heaven help the unwatchful. Are there any beaches you know of with similar reputation
