Our Forums Have Closed

Hi, Everyone,

We have decided to close the Almanac forums.

The good news: Now you have the ability to comment on the www.Almanac.com Web site pages!

The Web site has grown tremendously, with 12 million readers every month. You'll find folks who are weather watchers, gardening enthusiasts, stargazers, and more. Find advice, get answers to questions, and share your experiences.

Find the Almanac here, too!

Finally, a big THANK YOU to all those who have participated in and looked after the forums over the years!

Sincerely,
The Old Farmer's Almanac

Keep on studying! and

Keep on studying! and congrats to you on furthering your career. I have an AD in Nursing, never really wanted to get a BSN only because the longer I've stayed in the profession the more disenchanted I've become with healthcare. I always loved numbers, etc and loved accounting in high school. Often think I should have gone that route. Stay in touch and let us know when you graduate!

Thanks Lantana

I hear ya on the career path blues. A friend of mine also went into nursing, then steered into massage therapy and since she owns a farm, added organic produce, so you just never know.

I started out my working career in accounting but something just didn't satisfy an 18 yr. old!

Besides, the boss is less likely to ask a number-nummy to go shopping for his wife than he would a secretary (and I hate that crap).

Will stay in touch, take care!!!
