It didn't take me long to fill out the Census form.. Yup, marked 2 for the number of people living here and N/A the rest.. Took me a whole of 20 seconds...

mine yesterday. "Your response is required by law" is what it says on envelope. Like I aint got nothin' else to do, right? (He says, while sitting at the computer with nothin' else to do.)
Mine is sitting somewhere still unopened. They will probably come knocking on my door before I get it turned in. My DH is putting new counter tops, sink and plumbing in my kitchen so it is all torn to pieces at the moment. I dont have water or a sink.....driving me nuts! So the census is not high on my priority list. They should send them out in January when it is too cold to do anything else.
You really don't think anyone in Government are smart enough to think of that now do you??
Maybe you may feel the Census is an invasion of privacy. But there is at least one good reason for filling it in. That is that in a couple of centuries you census returns will be of great value to students of history.So YB when you fill in that CENSUS you should put in what might interest future generations and leave out anything that the present generation has no bloody right to know.

how many people live in the house, they do NOT need my personal info, my phone number, what I do for a living, what color my dog is....
All they need is the amount. Anything else that is none of their business will be offered freely if people fill out the form.
I don't know how it is over there but this government will use a lot of things against you, trust me....

I had a 21 page booklet to fill out and it took 38 minutes to fill out.

It IS patriotic to be cooperative, and I don't answer the personal questions either.
Why? Like everything else, they misuse the info, and nothing good for 95% of us ever comes of it.
If writing the local senator/congressman falls on deaf ears, I have no reasonable expectation of educated decisions from govt.
....last night and filled it out. My favorite question was the one asking about people living there on APRIL 1st. Hellooo this is still March. lol
I would hate to be a Duggar with all those kids to fill in about. :))
