Change is good if it's for the better

I find the new site design to be visually boring and cluttered.

I hate change !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Do you have to hit preview and then hit post for every time you write something ???? Do you also have to type in the subject every time ???

Like maryescott I do not like

Like maryescott I do not like change but I can accept it when it is an improvement. I don't see where things are beter with this new formum Web page. I find it difficult to use. As a customer once complained about one of our products, "It is intuitively non-obvious".

What happened to ...

Where'd the links go for going back to the forum summary or the list of forums? I keep having to click on the "Community & Forums" menu up top.
-------------------
Okay, never mind, it's right below the TOFA logo, BUT, we used to be able to search forums ... where's that??????
------------------
The Search box in the upper right does it, but it takes awhile.

YIKES.

I'm NOT happy with TOFA

And what about if you want to PM someone? Where is that? HUH? I hate change wether for the good or not. You people at TOFA who did this, must have been smelling the fall air too soon. The road was not busted in anyway. What I want to know is, what were you on or thinking of? This sucks! Emily

New site

As a new viewer, I like this website. It's more pleasing to the eye, easier to navigate, and more intuitive to use. Like every change, it takes a bit of getting used to (like a new software program or new computer). I particularly like the "search" feature.

Combination

I think the old site with a few of the better upgrades from this site would work. This one is more work to use and to view.

Yes, a compromise would work! Keep and refine the best of the new Tech. stuff, plus the best of the old, and bring back the Old Historical Home Page with the Sun in the middle, Smiling away to make for a happy day:)

Compromise

.
Well, for awhile now, somebody in charge seems to think that video is a big attraction. Maybe they want to draw younger readers (probably).

Now webpage design sticks with as many items to select when the Homepage opens, scrolling down is avoided (too much work for viewers). That's just a standard.

BUT, there's plenty of room for a 2" SUN right above the Navigation Bar on the left !!!

Please put it back.

It's sorta back!!!

Made me smile.

YB I agree with you - this site not user friendly and harder to use and understand than the old site.

I love the new look of this

I love the new look of this website. It's very user-friendly. And I, unlike some, welcome change. We have to. We cannot become complacent. Whenever a website changes, this is a wonderful time for everyone to go and explore the new features. You might be surprised to find something you never knew existed on here.

I would agree that this site does look a lot more modern. If I were to change anything, I'd make it look more vintage/Americana. Otherwise, great job staff.

I love the new look of this

Hi Mike G
If you want more vintage America, You should want the Old Page Look Back!!!
It WAS Clasic Vintage/American.
It was a Historic Vintage American Look
Well over 200 years old, and produced right here in America!!!!!!!
Keep the new Tech. stuff explore all you want, have lots of fun, but start with the Vintage/American Old Home Page. A fare compromise I think:) Thanks!:) Steven:)

Blacksheep, you CAN'T take a vacation!!!!

We NEED you in the Labs! Hey, just bookmark the forums page, and by-pass all the rest! I just put a shortcut for the main forums page on my desktop, that makes it a LOT easier!

WebPage

I usually only view this at work. All the video pages and links are now blanked out by the smartfilters here at work. So one whole side of the home page is useless to me.
