I hate change !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Do you have to hit preview and then hit post for every time you write something ???? Do you also have to type in the subject every time ???
Like maryescott I do not like change but I can accept it when it is an improvement. I don't see where things are beter with this new formum Web page. I find it difficult to use. As a customer once complained about one of our products, "It is intuitively non-obvious".
Where'd the links go for going back to the forum summary or the list of forums? I keep having to click on the "Community & Forums" menu up top.

As a new viewer, I like this website. It's more pleasing to the eye, easier to navigate, and more intuitive to use. Like every change, it takes a bit of getting used to (like a new software program or new computer). I particularly like the "search" feature.
I think the old site with a few of the better upgrades from this site would work. This one is more work to use and to view.
Yes, a compromise would work! Keep and refine the best of the new Tech. stuff, plus the best of the old, and bring back the Old Historical Home Page with the Sun in the middle, Smiling away to make for a happy day:)

Well, for awhile now, somebody in charge seems to think that video is a big attraction. Maybe they want to draw younger readers (probably).
Now webpage design sticks with as many items to select when the Homepage opens, scrolling down is avoided (too much work for viewers). That's just a standard.
BUT, there's plenty of room for a 2" SUN right above the Navigation Bar on the left !!!
Please put it back.
I love the new look of this website. It's very user-friendly. And I, unlike some, welcome change. We have to. We cannot become complacent. Whenever a website changes, this is a wonderful time for everyone to go and explore the new features. You might be surprised to find something you never knew existed on here.
I would agree that this site does look a lot more modern. If I were to change anything, I'd make it look more vintage/Americana. Otherwise, great job staff.

I usually only view this at work. All the video pages and links are now blanked out by the smartfilters here at work. So one whole side of the home page is useless to me.
