Since you all sent your congratulations to me on my 46th wedding anniversary, well today is my 47th. We are still as happy as then, if not more so. Still plodding along, my dear wife is due for an eye op on 14th Sep. That will be interesting as I am to be captain and crew with the admiral watching ( at least with one eye) everything I am doing. I will let you know how it goes, if I survive.

for your kind thoughts for my good wife. She has had her op ( yesterday) and it seems to have been successful. She goes back for the other eye in October. She said that knowing folk were thinking and praying for her gave her a great lift. I have always believed in the power of prayer. I have seen it in operation and it works.
