Our Forums Have Closed

Hi, Everyone,

We have decided to close the Almanac forums.

The good news: Now you have the ability to comment on the www.Almanac.com Web site pages!

The Web site has grown tremendously, with 12 million readers every month. You'll find folks who are weather watchers, gardening enthusiasts, stargazers, and more. Find advice, get answers to questions, and share your experiences.

Find the Almanac here, too!

Finally, a big THANK YOU to all those who have participated in and looked after the forums over the years!

Sincerely,
The Old Farmer's Almanac

Last night was a very good night! I saw a lot of open star clusters! Still no meteors yet! I did see 2 or 3 satellites through my telescope! I also saw The Moon again!! I saw Saturn and saw one moon orbiting around it! I am going out again tonight for the last time until this Saturday! I will talk about what I see tonight tomorrow morning! Have a great rest of your weekend!

meteors

Telescopes and even binoculars are impractical for seeing meteors. Our old eyeballs are the best way. Following jets is fun though with my 10 inch meade!
