A Successful Observation

Our Forums Have Closed

Hi, Everyone,

We have decided to close the Almanac forums.

The good news: Now you have the ability to comment on the www.Almanac.com Web site pages!

The Web site has grown tremendously, with 12 million readers every month. You'll find folks who are weather watchers, gardening enthusiasts, stargazers, and more. Find advice, get answers to questions, and share your experiences.

Find the Almanac here, too!

Finally, a big THANK YOU to all those who have participated in and looked after the forums over the years!

Sincerely,
The Old Farmer's Almanac

Last night, I went out at 10:30 p.m. and stayed out until 11:00 p.m. Even though I only stayed out for half an hour, I still did get some get excellent observation! I did not see Saturn, Nebulas, or any Galaxies. I also did not see any meteors. I did see The Full Buck Moon! I also saw some very nice open star clusters with my telescope! I drew some drawings of star clusters! I might even get a chance to go out again tonight if its not very cloudy in my area. I did see the Big Dipper with my naked eye with the Northern Star Straight across from it! I hope you liked my observations! I will try to get some more action tonight! If I do go out tonight, I will let you know what I saw tomorrow in the afternoon! Have a great day!
