The house finches are back, soon I should see other birds too :exmark:
Probably starting with the red-winged blackbirds, then the tree swallows, then most of the rest of the other birds should come quickly :exmark:

Purple Martins
Anyone seen any Purple Martins in Louisiana, close to the Mississippi Line???? It's early March already.
Built a nice Martin Hse. 3 years ago...haven't seen ANY Martins interested, even though they fly over my hse. during the summer catching insects. Feel like hanging out a "For Rent" sign !!!!*****

Canada geese
I live in Montreal Quebec, and the 1st "flush" of Geese are back, what a relief it was when I heard them, then I ran outdoor and saw the V shaped group passing overhead.
