The first of the returning Sand-hill Cranes returning from their winter range!
They were too far away to tell for sure that's what they were, but I also thought I heard them off in the distance the other evening.

That must be a beautiful sight!!

The pond nearby used to have so much wildlife before the area built up -- even a visiting loon!.

And there were 2 White Herons perched in a tree no less.

So exciting and such nice presents from Nature.
