Hello, I was hoping someone might know of a non-lethal way of keeping pigeons from roosting on my porch.Hate the mess they make! Thanks in advance for any idea's.

Heard these work well:
Get one of those plastic owls with the head that moves. Post it on the porch where the birds can see it. You will have to move it once a week so it appears to be alive and not a statue
and...
scare them. Get one of those air blaster horns they use for sporting events. When the birds are roosting, give them a little noise. Discourages them from coming back.
Is seems that multiple approaches works best.
There are other ones but for a porch, they may not be the ideal solution.
