Find the Almanac here, too!

Finally, a big THANK YOU to all those who have participated in and looked after the forums over the years!

I'm in central Mo.. been fishing for about 30 years, although nothing to serious. Just fish for fun and food. I fish for catfish, crappie, bluegill, and bass. using live bait and lures. Also warmwater flyfish and flytying. I can hardly wait for a little warm up to go try my luck.

As you can see, the forum is a little slow this time of year. Any good "fish" stories you care to share???

Midnight Bass

Back in the day and during the summer months I fished a lot of late night after hour(s) on golf courses and local ponds.

Anything goes when you're dragging a plastic worm on the bottom of a pond in the middle of the night e.g., Bass, Catfish, Carp, bicycle tires, branches ... you get the point, but it sure was fun.

Spent most of my formative years searching out new places to fish while pleading with my parents that I was old enough to be on my own. I won by attrition after awhile as they allowed me to develop my hobby.
