Our Forums Have Closed

Hi, Everyone,

We have decided to close the Almanac forums.

The good news: Now you have the ability to comment on the www.Almanac.com Web site pages!

The Web site has grown tremendously, with 12 million readers every month. You'll find folks who are weather watchers, gardening enthusiasts, stargazers, and more. Find advice, get answers to questions, and share your experiences.

Find the Almanac here, too!

Finally, a big THANK YOU to all those who have participated in and looked after the forums over the years!

Sincerely,

When I was a school boy I enjoyed reading a comical book called The Grasshopper Trap. Today I found out there is such a thing as a grasshopper trap, and I intend to build one or more,,,,free fish food!,,,and less of those vegetation destroying pests!

I remember growing up with grasshoppers. My brother and I would collect buckets of them and then set them free. Hope your trap works.

Thanks,

The fish seem to be doing well under the ice right now, I'm so anxious for spring. The chicken coop I'm putting up should provide relief too, and I plan on putting up a duck hutch.
So much going on here right now!
