Have any of you folk ever grown Jerusalem Artichokes? I am told they can be invasive. Could you grow them in a small plot with plastic sheet buried virtical in the soil to stop the root spread like an undeground barrier fence.

Yes, I grow them,

really tough plants and a substitute for potatoes.
