Been awfully quiet on here campers!
Starting to put the garden to bed. I bought a bale of straw today so I can change out the old straw for new for the shelters for my strays.
I also have a HUMMER that is STILL here! She needs to move SOUTH!
Bought several wooden bird boxes. I polutheraned them and will hang them up tomorrow. Got to make sure the birds that winter here are taken care of.

I've been pulling up the peppers and tomato plants that no longer have any fruit on them. Readying up that little space for some lettuce and radishes. No news here on the coast....except it's to dang hot!!!
What strays. Don't say you have even more than you told us about on the old site. (That seems like centuries ago, memories, memories) I hope you didn't treat the bird boxes on the insides. The birds won't like it if you did.
It might be quiet for you but tomorrow I start decorating for Halloween. Yes I know it is a bit early but I just love the bright lights. Then as soon as they come down up go the Christmas lights ready to turn on on 1st December. Can't wait. My wife reckons I am still a little boy in big boys trousers. HO HO HO.

Ohhh nooo COlin.. I don't know who the strays are... whomever needs a warm and dry place to rest and sleep from the cold is welcome. I have to make sure that there is warm, sweet fresh straw for them.
Ohh noo my friend.. I only treated the boxes on the OUTSIDE. never on the inside unless some may have dripped inside... but No.. NOT on the inside.

Last year it seems like it was quiet at this time too,,,,then a whole new crowd showed up!:)
I still need to get out and pull the pumpkin vines and tomato vines, not much else to do out there till spring,,,,unless I get ambitious enough to get out there and get started on the whole new garden plot!:D I think later this winter I will get out and pick more rocks and get them put out as stone mulch on the old garden site,,,,just not energetic enough to get around to that just yet!
