Prickly Pear Cactus, they finally grew! :D

2 1/2 years ago I cut a few pads to start some, but thought they had just withered and dried down, now there is I think, 4 of them, the first one came up last fall, the other 3 this summer! :)

One even has three new pads formed on the first pad that sprouted on it! :)

The novelty wore off of eating them, but they are a plant I dearly love! :D

My thread on them died when Bump left,

Now he's back and so are they! :D

I guess the old hay I put down as mulch back there behind the house must have revived them! :)

I hope they start blooming in a year or two! :D

Not sure I meant to call you that Bumps,

but after thinking on my post from you mentioning that, it sounds really incriminating! :D

The cactus was really good, I fried it with yellow zucchini and walla walla onion! :)

They taste good again,

after taking a break from them,,,,I was eating way to many of them and got tired of them!

They sure are good with the Onions and Yellow Zucchini from my garden! :)

The Zucchini I got seeds from YB for still haven't grown much, not sure what makes the difference!

Any of you

Noticed.
YB don't say much do he?
Maybe that what comes with being a moderator.
What was he like before he was a moderator and normal like us folks. I am sure there must be someone out there who can remember?
