One foot of heavy wet snow, nearly as dense as a snow cone!

Last night, the forecasts said up to an inch, or a bit of slush, I guess mother nature had a curve ball up her sleeve!

We got the same!

Here in NW NJ, nice 2" of wet heavy stuff plus a little sleet, then a break.

And the fog rolled right off the mountain and tucked itself in for the night, thick as pea soup!!!

Still snowing here,

even though it's 40 deg out, and now the snow is wind driven!

I can't even take a bubble bath in my whirl pool tub to relax and make myself feel better, as last night, before I knew what this storm was going to do, I began taking the tub apart to fix a leak!

I hear ya guys, Weather fgor

I hear ya guys, Weather fgor here in Va is possible snow flurries this weekend. It was almost 70 th eother day and it will drop like a rock after tomorrow.
I planted some lettuces in containers yesterday.. I'll bring them into the garage this weekend AND I was at Home Depot today and boght a LAVENDER Hybrid Tea Rose. Needless to say THAT won't be planted this week. AND to top it off. I had placed an order to BURPEE for several plants ASKING NOT to send until MAY... The plants are now in my garage and I have fired off an e mail to them and also made a comment to them on Face book. Grrrrrrrr.

Cheer up Deb, it will get better soon!

I hope the plants in your garage make it in good shape till planting time!

Right now I'm hoping to be able to get a vehicle out of my driveway tomorrow, I feel so vulnerable being snowed in!

Storm King

He made a hey-day yesterday, tossed up every piece of winter he could think of! Snow, sleet, rain, pea-size hail and high winds, thunder & lightning, MORE snow although it was a quieter gentler wave goodbye.

Wouldn't it be nice if that's our last snow for the season?

Switching to rain would be nice,,,,,,,

but just as long as I don't get stuck in my own driveway again this year I'll be happy even if it does snow! :D After all I got my Whirl pool tub fixed today, and am already to soak away even the most miserable of days again! :)

What snow we got has been melting good, and should be helping fill the pond, though I haven't trudged down there through whats left of it to see. :)
