Clematis advice for Zone 24, CA

Hi All.....I would like to have a great clematis with colorful flowers all summer long. Problem though is I live in Zone 24, near the beach in Southern Cali. Would love to have some advice.

Welcome to the forums Carol

I never heard of a "zone 24???" As far as I know most zone maps go up to zones 10 or 11.
Go to this site and find your zone.
I'm sure someone here plants Clematis..
