Our Forums Have Closed

Hi, Everyone,

We have decided to close the Almanac forums.

The good news: Now you have the ability to comment on the www.Almanac.com Web site pages!

The Web site has grown tremendously, with 12 million readers every month. You'll find folks who are weather watchers, gardening enthusiasts, stargazers, and more. Find advice, get answers to questions, and share your experiences.

Find the Almanac here, too!

Finally, a big THANK YOU to all those who have participated in and looked after the forums over the years!

Sincerely,
The Old Farmer's Almanac

Something takes the leaves of my small corn plants and winds the ends together very tightly and they later die at the point of the wrap. If you separate the leaves they are very wet at the tips where they were wound together. Can anyone tell me what causes this and what is the remedy? Thanks!!

Greetings toozer

Unfortunately our Corn exert has passed away (RIP Stuie)
I did some research and was amazed at the amount of problems there were with corn.
My suggestion is to go to this website and see if you can find your problem.
When the page opens, scroll down till you see this header:

II. Emergence to Knee-High

Hope this helps you. Here is the Link:
