I ordered some egyptian onion bulbs last fall and they are doing wonderful. I have some friends who want some. What is the best way to harvest the top set bulbs so I can share with them. Thanks!

from what I've read...

the top of the cluster gets heavy enough that the plant bends over to touch the ground and then the bulbs take root.
It appears that you just have to divide the cluster and plant them like any onion set.
