It's beautiful here this morning, slight breeze and probably around 68-70. My little fountain is bubbling water, the birds are zooming in and out at the feeders and it's blue sky for as far as you can see.

So inspiring, I think I will do a little weeding and maybe get ready to decorate the front of house for fall.

How bout you guys and girls...what's your plans?

Mornin' To You, Thanks For Askin'!!

.
Hi Lantana!

It IS about as beautiful as it gets. I'll be sitting on the porch, soak up some sun, then do some houseplant repotting and kitchen herb planting for winter ... hey, dirt is dirt, right?

Also, my diabetic cat is doing really well (slowly reducing his insulin needs and improving his general health). So well that he likes to get up into the houseplants and nibble! I'll need to rearrange stuff out of his considerable reach (3 feet from back toes up to his cutey face).

And then I'm sure a cup a' coffee will take me back out into the sunshine eventually.

~~ ENJOY ~~

Mulching is the key, I have

Mulching is the key, I have mulched all of my beds and I barely had to weed them this year. I end up weeding in the trenches surrounding the beds rather than the beds themselves. It's a pain, although all weeding is but it much easier to keep up with. I just try to do a side every couple of days, and I've done better this year than in years past. Good luck for next year!

Knee high weeds.

Debs,
You are a real fast learner, if you let the weeds grow to knee high you don't have to bend down to pull them out. By the way it is 22.30 over here so I will say goodnight to you all.
Now that was a quick day wasn't it.

Fall relief,,,

Many of the trees and bushes around here have been taking the slow turn to fall badly, even ones just planted, so I have been happy to see cool weather appearing,,,,even though it frosted again this morning, cool temps will help my suffering plants, but I am dreading seeing how much damage this mornings frost did to my garden.
