Our Forums Have Closed

Hi, Everyone,

We have decided to close the Almanac forums.

The good news: Now you have the ability to comment on the www.Almanac.com Web site pages!

The Web site has grown tremendously, with 12 million readers every month. You'll find folks who are weather watchers, gardening enthusiasts, stargazers, and more. Find advice, get answers to questions, and share your experiences.

Find the Almanac here, too!

Finally, a big THANK YOU to all those who have participated in and looked after the forums over the years!

Sincerely,
The Old Farmer's Almanac

In the picture, you sure have been on a drastic diet.
Hi Debs merry Christmas to you, you still feeding all god's creatures. My birds are getting through 4 pints of fat in 2 weeks plus dried fruit, peanuts and just don't ask about the sunflower hearts. Then in summer we moan about them eating the flowers. Hmmmmmmm.

Say, Colin,

I saw a news article saying this last springs weather was good for lots of endangered birds and bugs, some of which they even previously thought were extinct over there! You seen any "extinct" bugs in your garden? I sure wish my grasshoppers would go extinct! (they almost did at my place, but am sure they will be back in full force sooner or later)
