Been building a wall with all the lovely new england black granite fieldstone dug up from the various areas of the yard. Transplanting strawberries and I should be getting another bundle of trees in a few days! Yay cherries!

Nothing exciting here on the coast, just watching my broccoli grow. Lettuce is still going strong. Just hung up my fall wreath and wishing for slightly cooler temps. Supposed to be in the 80's today.

Zoo Montana, critters in and out of cages, kids under 3 get in free anyway but today kids 3-6 in costume get in free too :EXMARK: :D

Black Granite?? I BET it is GORGEOUS!!!!! and Lantana... I LOVE FALL Veggies... but after the fiasco this summer I opted NOT to try .
Lary.. what kind of critters you have people looking at? You should come here. Mine come up on the porch. Our foxes are absolutely gorgeous. Their coats are stunning.. wonder if it's bec I feed them nicely every night. Every body is getting lots of good chow, getting them all ready for winter.
I have pretty much put things into the garden shed for winter. Today, I replaces old straw for sweet fresh straw in some of the shelters... a few more to go.

WHo me or Larry?

A partial list would be Cats, Deer, Groundhogs, Rabbits, Raccoons, Chipmunks, Assorted Birds.. and that's just what feeds in her Garden every year

We feed Deer, possum,raccoons, foxes (GRay),ground hogs,bunnies, all kinds of birds and a stray kitty boy... ohhhh and my neighbors cat and dogs come down every day fo r their "Snacks".

and had 5 blooming s of my gooseberries as the chokecherries and plums blooms mostly got ruined by the rain and not much else was there for the birds and animals other than grass and grass seed etc.

Seems like you and I didn't have a great season this year!

but this has been the best growing season for me so far since I moved in here! :)
