I am having high hopes for this years garden: a year of gardening that will pay for what I spend on it, a year of gardening that will feed my family for a year to come, a year of gardening that will keep us away from the tasteless veggies in the grocery store, a year of gardening that will fill my family's hearts with joy!
We've had more snow this winter than we've had in years, so we should at least be off to a good start!
your trees should be happy. Reading the title of this thread, I thought it might have something to do with a "special" type of plant you might be growing. ;)
Anything that will grow here is special to me :exmark:
You have an optimism and enthusium that is truly like a breath of spring Larry. I hope all your dreams and aspirations come true for you and your sister Charli. I sincerely hope and pray she has the same enthusiasm as you.
We gardeners are all born on top of the soil and end up under it but it is the bit between that counts.
Gardening for me is a way of life, I can't help doing it wherever I am. I reckon you are the same.
Thanks Colin! Such words of wisdom!
Amen Larry!!
ALot of u shouldn't have to water the gardens for while!
I have been looking at my seed and flower catalogs!!! I just look at the beautiful pictures and dream of warmer days ahead!
Deb
Thanks Deb!
I'm sure looking forward to how green the place should be this spring with all the snow drifts I got to soak the ground up good!
It got down below 0 last night, but the snow is melting again today anyway!
