I would suggest...
first find a way to tell if it is in the garage. If he is out on the town, go around and seal up all entrances where it could get in. If it digs a new one, fill that up to. Eventually it will get ticked and leave.

I would try
Music, skunks both ugly and beautful hate music played loud 24 hours a day. I have a radio playing music all day in my garage and don't have a single skunk.
