My daughter was wed 4 years ago ( another perfect Day) and I welcomed her hubby into my family. Itreat him as I do my daughter and I think he looks on me as a 'Dad' and a friend. My wife's Mum passed away last year, I never in 46 years ever called her my mum in law always Mum. So keep on with the son and enjoy the new addition to your family
