Our Forums Have Closed

Hi, Everyone,

We have decided to close the Almanac forums.

The good news: Now you have the ability to comment on the www.Almanac.com Web site pages!

The Web site has grown tremendously, with 12 million readers every month. You'll find folks who are weather watchers, gardening enthusiasts, stargazers, and more. Find advice, get answers to questions, and share your experiences.

Find the Almanac here, too!

Finally, a big THANK YOU to all those who have participated in and looked after the forums over the years!

Sincerely,
The Old Farmer's Almanac

We have had 13.34" of rain here in Ohio for the month of April. 2nd most rain fall on record ever. It we receive another 1/3 " we will beat the old record. Poor animals are doing the back stroke in their pens.

I know April showers bring May flowers. They better be some flowers........

Thanks,

I'm above ave. precip. here,

but not any wheres close to that! 2.75" for me, about and extra inch, and we were fore-casted to be shorted an inch! :)

I like it here where it's usually dry, I can always keep improving my water conservation, but too much water can be more difficult!
