my large jade plant got too hot while we were on vacation. It drooped apart and then one side broke off (2ft size). It still looks healthy, leaves nice & fat. Can I reroot the broken off piece?

Jade plant

A piece of jade that size would be tough to repot.I have had jades in the past fall apart, and I simply cut them in smaller sections and repot them.Keep the soil moist and keep in a shaded area for a month or so.Make sure to plant them at least 2' deep. You can remove the bottom leaves of the cuttings to assure good planting depth.Good luck.
