Our Forums Have Closed

Hi, Everyone,

We have decided to close the Almanac forums.

The good news: Now you have the ability to comment on the www.Almanac.com Web site pages!

The Web site has grown tremendously, with 12 million readers every month. You'll find folks who are weather watchers, gardening enthusiasts, stargazers, and more. Find advice, get answers to questions, and share your experiences.

Find the Almanac here, too!

Finally, a big THANK YOU to all those who have participated in and looked after the forums over the years!

Sincerely,

What has happened to our frosts.
I am still picking armfuls of dahlia flowers. I sent my daughter home yesterday with a great bunch. I await the frost to seal the stems so I can lift them and dry them out for next year. Are any of you having the same problem? Today,Sunday Rememberance Sunday, it is a wet miserable day but this evening the sky has cleared and the temperature has dropped to about 5C. Mind you I can live with the flowers' colours mauve, orange, red, yellow, pink and one called Babylon Purple its flowers are about 12 inches in diameter, a beauty.
What's your weather like?

RE: Weather,

It's been warmer than normal here, but that's been the trend recent years.

My Morning glories finally

My Morning glories finally died with the frost last week..but gosh there are still dandelions..in So. Ohio..we had a lot of beautiful colors a bit over a week ago..then within a few days allll the leaves were down. Warm days coming and going..sort of strange..and day lights saving always depresses and confuses my inner clock. Its been hard to think the Holidays are just around the corner....

I come to visit here...but I know I shouldn't say this..but not the same..or everyone is just busy?? Guess I am just venting;-)
Take care
Vickie
