I aam want to grow tomatoes in doors in a five gallon bucket through the coming Missouri winter. Having not done this before I am seeking advice on best methods use by forum community. Thank you in advance for your help.

I am going to try this as well this winter in PA. What I read so far is you have to keep a good reflector on a good light about 6 inches above the plant.
I'm not going to use a grow light but a mini fluorescent bulb, 200watt daylight (5000-6500K value)
Your suppose to feed it every time you water it, let the soil get a little dry between waterings. Once you get flowers on you have to 'shake' the plant twice a week to encourage pollination.
Best of luck to you (and me lol)
Hey guys,
Where exactly are you going to put the plants in your home? I'd like to try since we have mild winters here. I was thinking of turning my screened in porch into a greenhouse by putting plastic up. Just wondering about your set-ups.
