Is it normal for the leaf part on root plants to be slow growers? I planted 2 weeks ago and my above ground veggies are taking off but my beets, carrots, and onion, the leafs are so tiny and doesnt seem like they are growing. I can tell you that I planted in the wrong moon phase for the root plants. The soil is loose but they are not in a raised bed. I have a soaker hose along all the plants and water every day if not every other day for 20-30 minutes. Am I or have I done something wrong or is this normal?
