Afternoon all!!!
Hope this finds all of you well and in good spirits!
I have been a planting fool! Been getting some great perennials at the Discount Rack at LOWES. Yesterday, I bought THREE Black KNight Butterfly BUshes for $7 each. Also got some Zinnias that all they needed was some water.
My first special order arrived from Territorial. PLanted them today.

How is everyon else's garden going?
Has anyone heard from Pumpkin Doug???

Just getting to be time,,,,,

Around here it's just getting to be time to be planting cold hardy veggies in the ground here!

My mom and sister put in Peas and Carrots in today, though I did poke some Snow Pea seeds in the bank of the pond a while back and they are coming up now, it is not considered safe to plant cold hardy plants around here till about the 15th of May, we've still been getting freezes down to 20 deg F even just a few nights ago!

11 out of 12 Strawberries are looking healthy, to soon to tell about my Raspberries they haven't leafed out yet.

My Box Elder trees I planted last year are mostly looking wonderful!,,,9 out of the 10 are leafed out, and about 6 look as if they will put out dozens of new branches this year,,,,though 2 of the 9 are cut back to mostly a stump along with now the 10th, which should leaf out soon after having been rid of the dead top.

When will you be able to

When will you be able to plant main season vegetables? Is there a chance that you may get more snow or hard freezes?

RE: When,,,,,

About Memorial Day Weekend should be safe, but year before last we got a frost about the 12 of June, and I've been in a snow storm on the 4th of July before!
