High everyone! Just thought you'd enjoy these!
Very nice, I especially like the sky ones. I am always amazed when mother earth puts on sky show!
When I was down in California, there were no clouds visible, only smog!
So back home here in Montana is where I am permanent! :)
Really great pictures Larry - Thaks for sharing them
Good eye Larry, thank you. :)
I finally got around to getting the old leaves picked off the Water Begonias just after I took the photo of the one in bloom, I would have done it sooner, but wasn't sure if I should because when I got them awhile back they were having a hard time staying right side up with so few leaves.
Even the water! I've always had a begonia in my houseplant collection, and interesting to see a water begonia ... usually a plant type has only one kind of environment (I think?)
I took a begonia straggler from inside and put in out ... live or die. I can't believe how it's thriving.
Could be time to repot/add fresh soil before dormant time.
Thanks for enlightening me again.
I rechecked the site I ordered them through they are actually water hyacinths,,,,I think water begonia was a plant I saw on Ebay.
I think I saw a Larf or Larfae (baby salamander) in the pond yesterday, at first I thought it was a frog, but after thinking about what I saw and remembering what the description I read on the internet and what the photo looked like, I decided it was probably a Larf. :)
Water hyacinths, I get in now.
A salamander too! They come in all kinds of colors. Up in the Adirondacks we fished with corn kernels and they would latch on sometimes (but not to the hook).
the Larf must be the offspring of the salamander, or possibly salamanders I saw in the pond a while back. :)
Hopefully it's a permanent resident! :D
