Spring Poem

Jonquils smiling in the sun,
Hint that Spring has now begun.
Flanked by green, the grass is growing,
Foretelling lawns will soon need mowing.
And forsythia waving in the breeze,
Are beckoning to the honey bees.
Once again, all outside is awake,
From the long winter nap it had to take.
