1 - 8 oz. brick cream cheese
3 tablespoons confectioners sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 to 3/4 cup heavy whipping cream
Soften cream cheese in bowl. Add sugar, vanilla, beat well. Slowly add heavy cream until spread reaches a whipped cream consistency. Try adding grated lemon or orange rind. Use other flavors of extract in place of vanilla. Enjoy cream with scones and a warm cup of tea.
