Our Forums Have Closed

Hi, Everyone,

We have decided to close the Almanac forums.

The good news: Now you have the ability to comment on the www.Almanac.com Web site pages!

The Web site has grown tremendously, with 12 million readers every month. You'll find folks who are weather watchers, gardening enthusiasts, stargazers, and more. Find advice, get answers to questions, and share your experiences.

Find the Almanac here, too!

Finally, a big THANK YOU to all those who have participated in and looked after the forums over the years!

Sincerely,
The Old Farmer's Almanac

I don’t have any seeds to swap yet because we just moved and I finally have gardening space.

Gardening is so expensive to start and I have a small budget so I was wondering if anybody here has extra seeds they’d be willing to send for a SASE or a small fee?? Looking for flower seeds (anything but marigolds – brings flashbacks of an older neighbor  )

I’d appreciate any help at all.
Thanks,
Dawn

SASE for dandelions

If you send a SASE with 2 first class stamps, I'd be happy to send you some daisies you can grow from the cuttings.

Rudbeckia Goldsturm (Black Eyed Susan)

You are welcome to seeds and directions for a SASE; they bloom the first year but are small. By the fourth year, if you don't touch them, they will be like the size of bushes!
