I have some bad news

Our Forums Have Closed

Hi, Everyone,

We have decided to close the Almanac forums.

The good news: Now you have the ability to comment on the www.Almanac.com Web site pages!

The Web site has grown tremendously, with 12 million readers every month. You'll find folks who are weather watchers, gardening enthusiasts, stargazers, and more. Find advice, get answers to questions, and share your experiences.

Find the Almanac here, too!

Finally, a big THANK YOU to all those who have participated in and looked after the forums over the years!

I will be unable to post a daily forecast here anymore since my mornings are now booked. I'll post here time to time, but North Idaho Weather will no longer exist.

I might be able to resume

In early October, my morning job will end since it's a seasonal job and I signed up about a month before it ends for the year, so I should actually be able to post my forecasts again beginning early October.

Glad you are still around

Hi Andy, I've been following your posts for some 3 years now. I spend time up in northern Idaho on the lake during the fall and have always looked forward to your weather forecasts. You always made them so interesting but the best part was when the weather would turn and the first reports of snow would come in. I'm from the south where we get no snow, and looking forward to a few snowflakes is a big part of why I go to Idaho to vacation. Thanks for all you have done and I hope you are back soon!
