We just had our last thunderstorm of the year, I think. But is there a prediction of some sort to when the last thunderstorm occurs and when our first frost of next year would be?

The way I've always heard it

The way I've always heard it is this:

The first frost is always exactly 6 months after the first thunderstorm after the first day of spring. Hope that helps
